Joshua Powers is a typical teenage boy. He goes to the church pastored by his grandfather Dan. He listens to rock music while working on his dirt bike. He stays up all night watching Creature Feature, usually with his friend Travis, then sleeps it off during economics. His blue-grey eyes have all the girls turning their heads, while the school bullies circle like a pack of wolves, eyeing their next meal. But these bullies aren’t the only wolves in town . . .
With his ‘first moon’ quickly approaching, Josh struggles to understand the supposed rape/animal attack which resulted in his mother’s death, but his own birth; the absence of his father, who’s blood connects him to one of two ancient lines of Werewolves, and the ever increasing changes to his body which mark him as Wolfen. During his search for understanding, Wolfen leaders must out-wit and out maneuver the mysterious ‘Guild’, who have hunted werewolves since the time of the Knights Templars. Also on his trail are the other bloodline of werewolves; bloodthirsty and cruel, they are evil personified. But Josh is not alone in his fight. He is part of the pack now, even if he is unaware of it yet. He must depend on the Wolfen, as much as they will come to depend on him.
Let the hunt begin!
